CAREERS

Coborn regularly offer opportunities to foreign nationals with good language skills, to work in England for a period of time. With the aim for applicants to improve their English and experience. These opportunities could be purely office based, assisting with Administration or design projects, to assisting with translation between Coborn and our customers. Alternatively the opportunities may be more Hands-On working in our machine shops or assisting with technical duties.

I am an International Business student; I study at Mulhouse University, France.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my 11 week internship at Coborn and my stay in England.

I was tasked with contacting French companies, introducing Coborn to potential customers, responding our customers enquiries (quotes, information...) and updating the database. I translated the Coborn Website into French, plotting sales to form new pages/links on the website, to go live when German Translation is finished. I also assisted with business training as part of the ongoing Coborn/Warren School/Havering College partnership.

I especially appreciated the generosity of the directors to offer me the chance to live and work near London, as well as my colleagues' support.

This enriching experience will carry forward into the rest of my chosen career.
